This is your monthly invitation to invite rest into your life.

Join me for an evening of relaxation in the beautiful, peaceful setting of Calmspace, a traditional yurt set in the Aberdeenshire countryside.

Get comfortable by the fireside as we slowly relax deeply into the process of yoga nidra, known as yogic sleep.  This healing practice is the perfect antidote to end your busy week to leave you refreshed and radiant for your weekend.

I will provide a warming Ayurvedic drink & snack to enjoy by the fireside before your journey home.

Spaces are limited.  This is a small group event.

What to Expect
We will begin this class with a short series of gentle stretches to support your body in finding comfort in stillness.

You will then settle into a comfortable resting postition where we will find stillness connecting before I guide you to a state of deep relaxation: yoga nidra.

The aim of yoga nidra is conscious deep relaxation and I will guide you with my voice to further release muscular, emotional and mental tensions. While I will continually invite you to stay awake and aware, you may find yourself drifting to sleep. If you do fall asleep at any point in the class just take this as a message that this is what you need.

Many people find they emerge from yoga nidra invigorated and inspired or you may simply feel more calm and ready to go to bed!


What do you need
No yoga experience needed this is a relaxation class
Dress comfortably and in layers (it can be chilly outside but toasty by the fire).
Let me know in advance of any dietary requirements or allergies.
Bring a yoga mat and a blanket if you prefer to use your own.
